Meet Our Team

Jenn was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland.  Jenn attended the University of Maryland in College Park where she was a double major in Government & Politics and Criminology & Criminal Justice.  While there, Jenn was a captain on the University of Maryland’s collegiate mock trial team, winning multiple individual and team awards.  She also spent a semester on exchange at Leiden University’s Law School, the top-ranked law school in the Netherlands.

Jenn moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University School of Law and subsequently fell in love with the city.  After her first year, she interned in the National Security Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C.  During her summer there, Jenn worked with federal prosecutors trying high-profile cases, including the sentencing of a Libyan national involved in the Benghazi attack and the murder retrial of a Blackwater contractor in the Nisour Square massacre.

Jenn gained further experience working in Emory’s International Humanitarian Law and Juvenile Defender Clinics as well as externing in Cobb County Superior Court.  She also served as Executive Managing Editor for the Emory International Law Review and worked with incoming students as a House Coordinator in Emory Law’s Houses Program. After taking the bar exam, Jenn worked for the Honorable Steve C. Jones in the Northern District of Georgia as part of the Emory Law Fellowship Program.

Jenn is excited to be working in criminal defense and hopes to have an impact on criminal justice reform. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new vegan recipes, painting, and spending time with her cats.
