Robert attended Georgia Southern University and graduated in 2015 with a B.A. in Construction Engineering and a minor in Business Administration. After working for several years in the commercial construction industry, he enrolled at the University of Georgia where he earned his Master of Public Administration degree, specifically studying public policy. Upon graduating in 2019, Robert went to work for Rehabilitation Enables Dreams (RED), an Atlanta based non-profit that focuses on reducing recidivism rates in local communities by equipping participants with social, civic, and financial literacy skills. In his role with RED, he was directly exposed to the criminal justice system, sparking an interest in law. Robert is now a JD candidate at Georgia State University College of Law, where he plans to pursue a legal career dedicated to the public’s interest. In his free time Robert enjoys playing guitar, listening to podcasts, and following politics.
